In June 2006, Miley Cyprus made her debut as "Hanna Montana" at a concert at Disney World. Disney Records released the Hannah Montana soundtrack on October 24, 2006. In June 26, 2007, Miley Cyrus released a double album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. When Miley began touring in October as herself and Hannah Montana, tour tickets for each date have been selling out in record time after they have gone on sale disappointing large numbers of fans. In December 2007, Miley Cyrus was ranked at #17 in the Forbes Top 20 Earners Under 25, with an annual earning of $3.5 million.

Amy Winehouse
Amy Winehouse's album, Back to Black, released in 2007, led her to six 2008 Grammy nominations, including the big four Newcomer, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year. She won the Ivor Novello Award in May 2007 for the first single "Rehab" from the album. On 14 February 2007, she won a BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist; she had also been nominated for Best British Album.
