Andrew Van De Kamp
Andrew Van De Kamp is played byb Shawn Pyfrom on the show Desperate Housewives. Andrew first appeared in the pilot of Desperate Housewives and had a recurring role throughout Season 1 as Bree's increasingly delinquent son. Eventually sent to juvenile boot camp, Andrew is removed when he told his mother he was gay. When he finally drove his mom over the edge, Bree abandoned him on the streets to fend for himself. Andrew returned home eight months later in Season 3 "a changed man".

John Rowland
John Rowland is played by Jesse Metcalfe on Desperate Housewives. John began in Season 1 as the 17 year old gardener who was having an affiar with Gabrielle Solis. Later on, he met Gabrielle at a hotel owned by his father-in-law and realized that he still loved her. He constantly fights with his wife over the fact that she wants to lead his life. He tries to get back with Gabrielle but she refuses because his wife is pregnant and she is with Carlos.

Karl Mayer is played by Richard Burgi on Desperate Housewives. Karl is Susan's ex husband, who left her for his secretary, Brandi. Throughout the show, he tells Susan numerous times that he is still in love with her and wants her back.

Matthew Applewhite
Matthew Applewhite is played by Mehcad Brooks on Desperate Housewives. He is Betty Applewhite's son, who frames his brother, Caleb, for the murder of Melanie Foster. When his mom realizes he was the one who murdered Melanie, Matthew runs away with his girlfriend Danielle. When Danielle's mom tries to stop them, she shoots him dead.

Ian Kavanaugh is played by Dougray Scott on Desperate Housewives. Ian was Susan's fiance. Ian met Susan in the hospital when Ian's wife and Mike (Susan's boyfriend) were both in comas. Susan later leaves Ian because she realizes she's still in love with Mike.

Carlos Solis
Carlos Solis is played by Ricardo Antonio Chavira on Desperate Housewives. At the beginning of the show, Carlos is a rich business man who treats his wife, Gabrielle like a trophy. He neglects her emotionally and buys her expensive gifts to make up for it. He later divorces Gabrielle when he cheats on her with his maid. Later, in season 4, his feelings for Gabby re-emerge and the two have an affair, while he is dating Edie, and she is married to Victor.

Tom Scavo is played by Doug Savant on Desperate Housewives. He is the father of 5 of Lynette's children, and has another child with Nora, a woman whom he had a one night stand with in Atlantic City before he met Lynette. When Nora is killed in a convenience store robbery, Tom and Lynette adopt Nora's daughter

Mike Delfino
Mike Delfino is played by James Denton on Desperate Housewives. In Season 1, he was the mysterious plumber who had a secret. Later on, Mike found out that his neighbor Paul murdered his ex-girlfriend Deirdre, and kidnapped Mike's son, Zach. Throughout the show, Mike had an on-again and off-again relationship with Susan Mayer, and the two finally got married in Season 3.

Austin McCann
Austin McCann is played by Josh Henderson on Desperate Housewives. He makes a brief appearance in season 3, as Edie's "hot" nephew, who draws all the girls' attention. He starts dating Julie Mayer, and then cheats on her with Danielle Van De Kamp, whom he eventually gets pregnant. When Danielle's parents find out, they force him to leave town.
